I’m 35 weeks today and have 35 days left to go (5 weeks). I’m considered ‘high risk’ because I have gestational diabetes. The good news is, I’ve been able to manage it with diet instead of having to take insulin.

We were at Walmart tonight looking at some of the baby stuff and we got so excited about her being here.
I’m getting another ultrasound Monday (yay!) so I can’t wait to see her and see how she’s doing.

I just felt Ella hiccup twice :)
I love it when she moves. She moves a lot when I’m laying down or about to go to sleep. Sometimes while I’m asleep and it wakes me up. That’s when she’s most active. That’s ok, though, I love it when she moves! I’m gonna miss her moving around in there once she’s here. This is the closest we will ever be.

10 weeks to go. As excited as I am to finally meet her, I’m enjoying my last few weeks of sleep (well, the sleep I’m actually getting).
I’m starting to get real nervous about taking care of a whole other life when I can barely take care of myself!

However, attempting to stretch to get the hair dye off the back of my neck while 36 weeks pregnant within those 10 minutes is not so amazing!

I don't get the appeal...
…Of going out every possible chance to get drunk. Not just drunk, but wasted. Only to talk to equally wasted people about stupid things and be involved in stupid drama.
Why do people who complain about these dramatic situations, put themselves in it every week (if not more)? I just don’t understand how this is a form of entertainment to some.

One of the mama’s on my March Mama’s page had an emergency C-Section today! She gave birth to a 1.1 oz baby boy at 25 weeks gestation. WOWOWOWOW! Her and baby are doing well and Oliver is actually breathing on his own! Praise God. So crazy to see pics and know that a baby around that size is growing in me right now! So grateful to have baby girl still growing...

I just got back from Target to do the baby registry. Umm…. It was SO FUN to walk around with that little scanner and just scan all the stuff I wanted. I went down each aisle twice because by the time I went around the first time, I didn’t want to be finished. In just 10 weeks, I will be considered full term. I’m only a week away from being on my third trimester. I feel her moving everyday. Part of me can’t wait until she’s here and I get to have her in my arms and see her tiny face, but the other part is glad there’s still more time since I have a lot to do still before she gets here.
